(None of this is directed at you Chase, it just seemed like a decent place to say it. I'm not an expert at all, but I'll bet if you look at what the content creators put out there, you'll see they're asking themselves these questions when selecting units. There is no random variation of damage in this game. How much damage can I do? No, really, do some kamikaze runs just to see how hard you can hit with your abilities so you can take the guesswork out of whether you'll leave the enemy with 4 HP.Do I need a healer? Do I have enough MP to last through this fight? Note where I'm functionally limited (can only use Selflessness 7 times, can only Midheal 8 times, can only Kaswoosh 4 times, etc.).How do I want the enemy to move? I can predict their responses to my positioning because the AI is fairly easy to manipulate. Are status effects going to help me here?.What are their weaknesses? Do I have units that meet both resistance and weakness criteria? Are they leveled? Can I level them in time?.Even with higher ranks and blossoming, most old S units just cant compete with the new stuff. Which resistances do I need? Am I using a cover tank who can negate my need for resistance? With how bad the power creep has been getting, I wouldnt be surprised if a new rarity like SS comes out before we get rank 9.Important questions I try to ask myself when building a team: Youtube guides are great, but I agree they should inspire you on how to think about the fight, not just be a move-by-move guide. The game’s concept is based on the original. You will be the leader of many Monsters, and your role is to fight the evil monsters. Monsters are the heroes of Dragon Quest Tact. Dragon Quest Tact is a Japanese Role Playing and Tactical Mobile game from Square Enix. Even if you have the same units, your AGI values might be slightly off due to equipment rolls, and your monsters end up tripping over each other. Check our Dragon Quest Tact Tier List where we have ranked all the monsters.
